Vicky liked her Godzilla, but the real hit was the Nemo slippers. They fit perfectly, and she wouldn't take them off. So they won't have any trouble keeping her shoes on until she outgrows them -- which may be another couple of weeks.
I now have a strategy -- I pull V away from what she shouldn't be doing; she starts crying; I hand her to a parent, and she stops crying. I did manage to keep her from taking away (or breaking) the necklace Kathy made me. Mardi gras beads are one thing; pearls are another.
The boys liked their monsters and dreidels.
It was a good gaming weekend, too.
Kathy ran her 1920s game, which was wonderful fun. Even if my character was blindsided by the accusation that she was a man stealer. :) It will be interesting to see what happens next, but that will have to wait until I get back up there next year.
And I will have some time to figure out what lovely memories she was having in the mystic pool.
[BTW, Kathy, Lucy is considering introducing the doctor to one of her school friends...]
I got a good PBEM update... but none of the other players have as yet responded. I hope they're not away for the holidays. And I got some really interesting background/world stuff.
More stuff to plot.
