I saw the doctor yesterday, and now have an appointment with the allergist she recommended. They want me to stop my antihistamines five days before the appointment. I don't know whether I can do that. I'll stop the long-lasting ones a week before, and just use baby benadryl when I need it.
Last night, we went out for my parents' anniversary to a restaurant my mother has been wanting to try. It was what I consider the culinary equivalent of literary fiction. I managed to find something I could eat, but it really wasn't my cup of tea.
I am definitely feeling game-deprived.
I think I'll go read some more E. Phillips Oppenheim. So far I have been sticking to what's available electronically -- but I am tempted to go order paper copies of some of the ones I read years ago. 'Miss Brown of XYO', 'Ask Miss Mott', 'Micheal's Evil Deeds', and 'The Ex-detective' were ones I think I liked. And I've wanted to read 'Anna the Adventuress' since I realized that that was what Anne Beddingfeld was referring to in "The Man in the Brown Suit". But so far I have resisted the temptation.
Next weekend I get to go visit and play.
