I'm feeling a bit better than I was, too. But I decided not to try to go to a movie; I had been considering going to see the martian rover thing at the Imax. Maybe next weekend, instead. Instead I did grocery shopping and major laundry.
It's been comfort reading time. I reread two P.G. Wodehouse books -- _A Damsel In Distress_ and _The Clicking of Cuthbert_, and my mother and I are rereading Eleanora Brownleigh's historical novels. These big fat paperbacks are set in the early years of the twentieth century. There is rather a lot of name dropping -- both of people and of brands. But it doesn't greatly interfere with the stories. I wish they were available electronically, as the twenty year old paperbacks are starting to fall apart.
I think I'll try to go to bed early tonight. Maybe I can get more than eight hours of sleep for a change, since tomorrow night I'll be lucky to get six.
