Beading was achieved. I introduced Kathy to proper beading wire and crimping. She has already gone beyond me. When I left this afternoon she was working on a complicated piece that was absolutely gorgeous. The three little boys were beading, and I made a "gamer's necklace" with six sided dice beads.
Baby Vicky had much fun playing with it. The magnetic clasp gives way when tugged, so no one gets strangled. :)
The baby is incredibly cute, even if she made me feel totally inadequate for not changing her diaper properly. Sorry, kid, the last time I baby sat, we were using cloth and safetly pins.
And Ryk was nice enough to tell me stuff about his world, and a bit of solo in-person instead of play by email gaming.
Watching Kathy run her game, I was strongly reminded of Alys Vorpatril.
Dad has been up and down while I was gone, and my brother went back to Boston today -- his first class starts at 8:30 Tuesday morning.
Tomorrow my mother wants me to take us shopping for a new rug for the living room. This pink and cream one hasn't lasted twenty years. We had the cola colored one before that for at least 30 years.
I hope tomorrow is a good day for Dad. I must also do laundry, and he asked me to show him how to do it properly.
